CHANGES to ZERO DARK ALPHA - ISSUE 001 - SYNOPSIS - 10 PAGE VERSION & 40 PAGE VERSION: For those tracking and also official website members. You already know we announced changes to this version of: ZERO DARK ALPHA - ISSSUE 001. As a re-fresher to what is about to happen. Here is the deal…Of what is coming for these two versions.
We are about to update this issue and release our first Version II or Re-Issue of this issue. The cover art will be different for the 40 page & 10 page versions. As we speak, we removed these versions from the store the last month, but as of 1 hour ago brought back the 10 page version with simple updates. WHY ARE YOU DOING A RE-ISSUE?? When these versions were first released, in 2024. They were not rushed in anyway, but we had a specific vision for the layout & delivery, that we couldn't match back then art wise nor software use wise. Now we have those capabilities. Also! We discovered the artistic style we wanted for the Zero Dark Alpha Brand, Story, & Universe, in early 2025.
The original artist, R-MAX, that provided us illustrations for the original release of the issue. Was good for the time, but he also knew of our plans. Now the time has come to make those changes. So in the oncoming months. We will be updating Zero Dark Alpha - Issue 001 - Synopsis (40 page version). With the changes we are after & will make.
The Free version of this issue in it's original form is now available again with some minor changes. Now per the the Version II or Re-Issue's of the 10 page & 40 page will be entirely different, but the original 10 page will be available. To include the 40 page version. (after some quick updates we are doing). So that way the original versions released will still be available, but the 40 page will still have a price tag. Per the Re-Issue's. Those will be two “New” versions, that will become available soon. We will be bringing back the 40 page original version in a few more days.
We hope this isn't confusing. Simply put…After removing the original versions of this issue. We are bringing the originals back with minor updates. Then releasing a Re-Issue of the 10 pg & 40 pg versions with “New” covers & our new found art style. There!! Hopefully that makes more sense.

This is a “NEW” format of releasing back story of certain characters & events within the ZERO DARK ALPHA story & universe. Known, as Special Origins Issues. This is numero uno in the series. We plan on doing a total of 10 - 11. Each one released will provide the time period in which they connect to the main Zero Dark Alpha storyline. This particular issue is en-route to be released before the end of this year. (or…Really…Really…Soon; Stay Tuned).
With the announcement of ZERO DARK ALPHA - The Animated Series for next year. We are still going to release Zero Dark Alpha issues up to and including. The main Zero Dark Alpha Story & the Zero Dark Alpha - Special Origins Issues. We are looking at releasing ZERO DARK ALPHA - ISSUES 004 - 005 in the oncoming months, but the difference planned for these issues, is to make them less than 30 pages each. Here at Zero Dark Art Studio we are looking to keep our issues within 10 - 20 pages going forward. We went wild with Zero Dark Alpha - Issues 001-003. To be honest. You can expect the main Zero Dark Alpha story to stop around issue(s) 011 - 013. Then the ZERO DARK ALPHA - The Animated Series will commence full fledge. Our goal is to release a large amount of seasons with the series. Then return to web-comics. Returning to making issues. Somewhere in the Issue(s) 040 -055 range. It will make sense once this all comes into being. So be patient. Like we always told you. Plan on growing with us, as we grow.
