We have a massive work load but we are chipping away one piece at a time with the universe we are creating here, at Zero Dark Art Studio & www.ZeroDarkArt.com. Let us put it this way. In 2025, we found our personal take or niche with the art and works we exhibit here on our website. We are going with it. Also! Everything we have ever announced will be done. One thing we have learned in this business is that nothing gets done. Until it is the proper time for it to manifest into reality. At least, that is how we see things. We know you live in a world were content, media, and entertainment releases are expected to be instantaneous. Sorry. We play by our rules on that and we are a very small team. Pumping out what we can. Everything we do takes time. So what is on the production table?
IS THERE A HOLD UP?? There was in 2025. Due to personal & Illustration issues. We are over all that and have been for over 5 months. Now we intended to be done with Zero Dark Alpha - Issues 004 - 006 by now. The real world stepped in and said No! For the time being. We wanted to have them done in 2025, but do to un-forseen circumstances, that did not happen. Know they are in the works.
We do not like to play with time lines or scheduled releases, at this time. Why? We are small & not a major company yet. The following is what to look out for… We will announce their official release, via our EVENTS Section & our Social Media. To include within our updates section. Also! WHAT IS COMING??
Currently we are upgrading all Zero Dark Alpha - Character Bio's, that we offer to view for free here on ZeroDarkArt.com. If you have truly followed what we do with the Zero Dark Alpha stories. Then you know our owner / founder Dane Debro, whom is also the writer / creator of the brand. Has stated on this site, Monthly NewsLetter's, and Social media. That there are well over 155 characters that have been created for the Zero Dark Alpha story and universe. We are currently taking down (but saving), the previous bios with the artwork done by: R-Max. The first illustrator we worked with in our beginnings.
We are upgrading them with the art format, that we discovered in studio, in 2025. The Organizations in the story & the Good characters to include the Majestic Organizations Characters. Have all been completed. We are upgrading all other character sections, as we speak. They will be done in due time in the oncoming weeks. The character bio's are important for anyone to learn about and read. Why? Because they give you the feel and insight into the people, that Zero Dark Alpha's Characters are…
There is also a bigger goal at play. A goal, that will come in the form of a large compendium. Of all the characters created for the Zero Dark Alpha story & Universe. Here is a prototype of that future compendium. Title of it will be, as seen here, but what may change is the cover art, in due time. This future compendium will feature all the characters, that have been created for the Zero Dark Alpha story & universe. Here is a future prototype and view of it:
(This future product will be available in Digital book form & Hardcopy copy; It will also feature the first 7 issues of: Zero Dark Alpha; We already have it planned. We are actively getting the artwork in place).
ZERO DARK ALPHA - Web-Comic ISSUES:
With our discovery of the power to take Zero Dark Alpha & make it into an animated series, as of recent. Of which that will begin appearing next year (minus some trailers, that will release this year later on), because we will be putting in allot of work, and effort into that massive project. When we discovered, that power. We at first thought, as a team. Screw the Web-Comic Issues. Yet! Dane Debro reeled us back into reality. Dane still wants to complete Zero Dark Alpha - Issues 004-006 to include 007. Then from there the animated series will tell the tale up to what has been designated by us, as Issue 055. Remember! The first season of the animated series will have 8 episodes. Then all seasons after will average 10-15 episodes. Until we match up to what we have script wise, as Zero Dark Alpha - Issue 008 -055. (Plans can change though; We are setting the plan in motion).
Now. What Zero Dark Alpha Issues are coming?? Here is what is in store between now & early, early 2027:

Zero Dark Alpha - McNab Island History - The history of the prequel to the Zero Dark Alpha Team; Zero Dark Alpha - The Invicte Report - Origin of Colonel John Rains Mission; & Zero Dark Alpha - Honeyism's - Origin of Honey. (one of our good characters for the Zero Dark Alpha Universe.
Now the Zero Dark Alpha brand is not the only brand of web-comics series we do. There are off shoot tales & stories. That belong to the Zero Dark Alpha Universe, also. What are they? There is the HELL RYDERS MC, EVILS LIVE, & A MAN CALLED OX. You can expect the first issues of these series coming, as well… Now! They are guestimated to be anywhere from 5 - 20 pages each issue (all pending).
This should hopefully settle your appetite for today! Listen it's simple. We say we will do something we will. All that may be off is the timing. Why? We are a small creative team, but we are trying our damnedest to provide the best for you and future readers / fans.
