THE NICHE INTO THE FUTURE…
The following we are about to introduce you to in this article. Know that we are sharing this to not only inform you of what is coming or what changes are coming. We do this to let you know that after careful review and study of demographics / analysis in the modern entertainment industry. Both mainstream & independent. We are attempting to bring to the world not only something “New," but something “New,” to become your next favorite. The changes you are about to witness. We feel are for the best and exhibits the best direction. Into the future for us and the brands / art we exhibit.
If you are new to what we do?? Just keep enjoying the ride. For those that have been on the journey with us so far? Meaning…From 2020 to now. We felt it would be wise to inform you, since many of you have vested interest into what we do. The following we are about to share with you. Involves our brand: ZERO DARK ALPHA.
WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN???
The big change, that is about to take place with our Zero Dark Alpha brand, is a huge change. It is a change though…That we feel is the true and best direction for the brand and it's story. For those of you, that have followed our journey. You know, that the: ZERO DARK ALPHA brand. Which constitutes the story & Universe of Zero Dark Alpha. You know, that it has been the beginning to a “New” web-comics brand and story. You also know, that so far…We have started the series, that is the web-comic. To include, video releases that are known, or as we call them: Zero Dark Alpha - Web-Isodes. Those forms of content creation for us, are about to change.
WHY???
To simply put it in easy terms without getting too scientific in how we do things. Just know our owner and founder: Dane Debro, has a sick hobby in the game of research. Especially in the department of demographics & trends. Then from there creating a analyzed spectrum into the best road(s) for us to travel. Remember! We are a small team. Allot of times…We put things out & can't get them out fast enough for this modern content era. We know! Yet…As a viewer or fan of us. Know! Anything we say we are going to do is going to happen. All that may be different is the timing on the release. In short, it will happen!!
The Study: From the middle of 2024 to now. We have studied the efforts and movements of mainstream & indie comics. We have studied groups on social media. We have studied the advent, that A.I. has become. We have studied the sales of hard copy (on paper or other style). Of modern comics and web-comics. In a nut shell what we have found is that there is a massive dead end. Almost like a hole everyone is trying to climb out of…
As a small Independent production studio of various things. We do not want ourselves in that grouping. We always look to the high road. Not just any high road, but the hidden one. The hidden one, that is either unseen or everyone is afraid to take. For us?? We found our path. We are going to take advantage of it quickly.
Our plan is to go down this path and not stop. So the days of us saying this and that is coming. Gone! We are ramping up for War. The way we fight. Once this happens we move and operate like a Horde. We will not stop until we succeed!
WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN???
With the Zero Dark Alpha Brand…
Dane has given the following directive.
The Zero Dark Alpha - Web-Isodes: They cease immediately so the ones, that we have created. That is it. No more. We will keep them here for nostalgia and perhaps other future measures.
The Zero Dark Alpha - Web-Comics: Those will continue, but there is a serious change about to take place involving them. What everyone needs to understand about the Zero Dark Alpha brand & story. The story is about a War Above & Below. Now in stories of War…There is allot going on & happening. Within the Zero Dark Alpha story. Dane, whom created and written the story. Created well over 158 characters and situations happening in the story, that is the War Above & Below.
The web-comics will be put on hold for the main story. As stated for the main story only. Why?? The main story is about to be turned into an animated series. This will sound nuts to some. Just know! With the software and technology we manage within our in-house studio. We have the ability We are going to give it a shot. Here is a prototype one shot for the ZERO DARK ALPHA - The Animated Series, that is in the works.
Be mindful this is only a prototype. Why are we doing this? Remember! mentioned above we studied allot about the modern mainstream & indie comics world. We realize or at least, as we see it! The comics world is saturated and gotten itself stuck in a pit. Everyone in that pit, is eating each other alive and trying to come out on top. Rather than jump in and keep fighting. The sun shined a different direction on Zero Dark Art Studio's path.
The animated series will be covering the main story, that is Zero Dark Alpha. We are ending the web-comic series temporarily until we cover certain aspects within the animated series. Why? This story is already scripted from Zero Dark Alpha - Issue 001 to Issue 055. As you can see, we are not getting things out fast enough. Our owner and founder although healthy. Want's to live and see this brand become what he envisioned. The comics with the Main Story will pick up again, at a future time. With our owner/founder & the small team we have. We know we can pump out film works faster than comics. Allot of work goes into the web-comics and they are time consuming. So we feel for the main story this is the fastest method to get the story out.
As a small production studio we also want some of our other projects to get out and completed. Also from the study of the current comics market. It makes no sense to release titles that due to us being “New.” We charge $1.80 per issue, but it's costing us hundreds to make. That makes no sense to us. We are not ending the Zero Dark Alpha - Web-Comics. We are wanting to get further into the main story, that is: Zero Dark Alpha. Before we continue the story in comic format again.
We hope this does not upset anyone, but we will go for the best course and path. To actually show returns, that benefit our Future in the realm of creation we manage. Do not worry! The main stories web-comics will return. All you need to do now is…Sit back. Then hopefully enjoy the “New” Show and animated series.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
We know you are already asking in your head. So here is a quick synopsis of what to expect for the Zero Dark Alpha - Animated Series:
- The Main Zero Dark Alpha Story, is going animated.
- The first episode (Pilot Episode); Any released trailers; and the cartoons themed intro. Will be posted here at: www.ZeroDarkArt.com for “Free.”
- The series will only be available to experience on www.ZeroDarkArt.com, via the streaming feature host we decide to go with.
- To watch from Episode One & forward it will be based on a subscription to watch and view. There will be a membership involved. A low minor fee to help us keep up the project in order to view. So anyone expecting all free. Stop being a cheapskate and take what we do serious.
- Majority of episodes for the Zero Dark Alpha - Animated Series are planned to be 15 minute(s) to potentially 30 minute(s) in length. We are still deciding the best format. Primarily the series regular episodes will be 15 minutes with special episodes being 30 minutes or more. (pending).
- As mentioned above. The Zero Dark Alpha - Web-Comics will pick up, at a later time and date.
- The animated series will be made for or rated TV-MA. The Zero Dark Alpha story, was never planned to be a little kid concept. From our point of view since we know the full story and true ending(s). It's a story about a War. Nothing about a War should be deemed or seen kid friendly. In our opinions. In the future we may consider a version for that…It's nowhere in the near future though.
